Reading Your Commission Dashboard in Pulse
What each section of the rep commission dashboard shows: monthly earnings, tier progress, retainer clients, earnings history, period breakdown, and how to raise a dispute.
Pulse · 16 Jun 2026
The commission dashboard is your personal earnings view in Pulse. It shows current-month earnings, your position in the tier schedule, active retainer clients, historical periods, and the detail behind each payment that generated commission.
Monthly earnings cards
The top of the dashboard shows three summary figures for the current month:
- This Month's Commission — your total commission for the open period, broken into one-off and retainer sub-totals. If any payments were clawed back this month, the clawback amount is shown separately and deducted from the total.
- One-Off Revenue — the total attributed revenue from one-off invoices paid this month. If your organisation runs GP mode, the gross profit figure is shown alongside the revenue.
- Retainer Revenue — the total attributed revenue from retainer invoices paid this month.
Below the cards, a strip shows your Year-to-Date Earnings and your Total Paid Out across all time, so you can see cumulative earnings at a glance.
Tier progress bar
The tier progress bar shows the full tier schedule for your organisation as a segmented visual. It highlights which tier you have currently reached based on this month's collected revenue, shows the active rate percentage, and tells you how much more revenue would be needed to unlock the next tier. When you have reached the top tier, the bar shows "Top tier achieved."
Earnings trend chart
A collapsible bar chart shows your commission earnings for the last six months. Use this to spot seasonal patterns and track whether your earnings are trending up or down.
Active retainer clients
If you have clients on retainer arrangements, each one appears with a progress bar showing how many months of retainer commission have been paid so far (out of a maximum of 6). For example, "Month 3 of 6" means this client is in their third month of generating retainer commission for you. After month 6, retainer payments from that client no longer generate commission.
Period history
Below the current month view, every past commission period is listed in reverse chronological order. Each row shows the month, your total revenue for that period, the rate that applied, the commission total, and the period status (Open, Locked, or Paid).
Click any period row to open the period drill-down, which lists every individual payment event that contributed to that period's commission. Each entry shows the client name, payment type (one-off, retainer, or clawback), the payment amount, the commission earned on that payment, the date, and a link to view the payment or download the related invoice PDF.
Raising a dispute
If you believe a commission figure is incorrect on an Open or Locked period, use the Dispute button on that period's row. Write a clear description of what you believe is wrong and optionally enter the amount you are disputing. Your submission is sent to all admins for review. You will see the dispute status and any resolution notes on your dashboard once the admin responds.
Frequently asked questions
Why does my period show a clawback?
A clawback appears when a payment that previously generated commission was refunded or reversed. The negative commission entry reduces your total for the current open period.
Can I see which payments I earned commission on?
Yes. Click any period in the history list to open the drill-down, which shows every payment event — including client name, amount paid, commission earned, and a link to the invoice.
